| I've been gone a long while.
I went to Camp Mennoscah. One of the greatest places on earth. The first day is kinda wierd, but after that it's great. 4-square, river play, the food... mmm... Borrow of the Balls, Persicution, the list goes on and on. It was great.
Quote of the Day: Look! Undead Monkey! Who said it? What movie?
I'm kinda short on words here...
Oh! My birthday is on Thursday! 14 Baby!!! I'm young...
I'm doing a T-High soccer camp that finishes tonight. Then conditioning is next week. 2 hours, morning and evening, Monday thru Friday. That's a lot of running. I should be getting ready for that.
Bye. | | |
| We are doing a lot of vacationing this summer...
This time were going to the Tetons and Yellowstone Park. AND CAMPING!!!
I'm ok with camping, but it's not on my must-do-every-summer list. Were going to do some hiking and some Site Seeing!!! I'm ok with missing some of the site seeing...
World Cup has been great!!! Germany lost to Italy 2-0 in the second overtime with the first goal in the 27th minute and another in stoppage time. The France vs. Portugal game was great. France won 1-0 with a P.K. by Zedine in the 33rd minute. I'm rooting for France to win the World Cup. I'm not happy because were going to be gone on the day of the Final. Don't tell me the score, who wins, or even the attendance expenctency!!! I AM TAPING IT SO DON'T TELL ME ANYTHING!!! NOT EVEN THE TIME OF THE GAME, OR THE COMBINED WEIGHT OF THE GOALIES!!!!!!
Anyway, it's a 15 hour drive to where were going so were leaving at 3 IN THE MORNING!!! I'm going to sleep the whole time. We will be back on Tuseday, so mark your calenders. I'm not liking this summer so much because of all this leaving and comming back for 2 days and leaving again stuff.
Someone needs to call me or something when were on our Exiting Adventure! I need someone to talk to other than the moutain goats...
Answer to the QOFD from the last time I updated is a wierd stalker-lady of a bike who kept riding past my cousins and I when we went for a walk.
QOFD: Jump Dale! Jump! -I want to know the movie and who said it.
Comment Me
I'm going to go prepare for our epic quest...
Good-bye, everyone. | | |
| Get comfy cause it's going to be long. (long vacation)
O.K. Driving was normally boring, but my dad had left a couple days earlier to do some other stuff, so that was different.
We got there after a day of driving. This was a family reunion so we had 3 cabins and we stayed with 1 other of my reletives. (the ones with the only boy on my moms side) My uncle (the one I was staying with) got a boat, but the water was only 2 feet deep (not kidding, TWO FRICKEN FEET) out a long way. I went walking with my only boy cousin and his girlfriend around the lake and we got invited to a party by a collage guy!!! We didn't go though... We tubed with a really bad tube and WATER SKI-ED!!! That was awesome, exept the time I finally got up, the boat died. It's really hard to get up. If you've ever done it, tell me about it. We watched World Cup games all the time. We went to Chicago one day. That was the day of the U.S. v Ganna game. We taped it. Then we watched it that night. THEY LOST!!! So now I'm rooting for Ukraine and England. (the other people I was rooting for) We went to the aquarium, where my mom's family lived, and China Town in Chicago. The aquarium is a normal aquarium, just with more money, a lot more. The family thing was kinda boring. We were parked in a tow zone so I kept looking for a tow truck towing our van away... China Town was fun. We ate at this really good Chinese restrant and then shopped. I almost bought a samuri sword... My sister bought packedged fish! It was from this grocery store where they chopped up stuff right infront of you!!! Fish guts all over, man!!! There were live turtles, frogs, and fish waiting to get sliced up!!! I'll never understand the chinese...
We departed from Koonz Lake and went to our "guest house" that we were renting in a suburb of Chicago. We got these handy passes that let us ride any bus and train in Chicago for 2 days. That was all we were there for so it worked. We went on a tour of the Loop, an above ground train that goes around a lot of famous buildings (is goes in a loop). We went shopping in a lot of wierd stores. My sister bought a princess set of figurines at a disney store and a ton of chocolate from another store in a mall. I restrained my self from buying anything, actually I didn't have any money. We went in Sears Tower which was fun. That mug is tall. We saw a U-Boat that was captured in WW2 in the Sience and Technology museum. It was the actual one too. No replica. It told how they cought it, too. That thing was BIG! After that we went to a White Socks game and spent $92 total on NOSE-BLEED SEATS!! 23 BUCKS A PERSON!! The game was alright. The Socks hit a grand slam to tie in the ninth at 9 with the Houston Astros. The game went in to the 13th and Houston won. That was getto. Oh!! We went to the BUBBA GUMP SHIMP CO.!!! We didn't eat there though. It was on Navy Pier if you ever go to Chicago and want some good srimp. We rode a giant farist wheel there.
I'm tired now.
Quote of the Day: Not a lot of roads to walk on, huh?
Guess it. It was said on my vacation.
It's 12 o' clock.
Good-night. | | |
| Yes, I know I haven't updated in a long while. I have been occupied.
O.K., so I helped with "Bible School" at our church. I was a recreation helper and I was in the dramas. (I was Jesus in them) That was fun, but got annoying with the kids wanting to play the same thing over and over again.
Other than that, I've just been hanging out. Mostly away from the internet though.
Now I'm leaving. Our famliy is having a family reunion. Not in Florida, not in California, but Indianna. I thought we might just go to Nebraska because its closer and the same and unexiting. We will go to Chicago and do stuff there. I hope we can go to a Chicago Fire game. We were going to get tickets for a Cubs game, but they are on the road when we are there. And the White Socks just suck...
umm...
well...
ahhh...
You people leave comments like crazy! I have 16 for my last entry! I guess thats good because it means that you come to my site and read my "folk songs".
Any-who...
I'm going to let you guess the Quote of the Day. Comment me.
Quote of the Day: I'm not Jim Jimmy Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim, HE'S Jim Jimmy Jim Jim Jim Jim Jim!
Who said it?! (It's from a movie)
Now I must go. I'm going to be in a van for the whole day... I will be back in, umm, 12 days-ish, or something like that.
Good-bye. | | |
| Finally...
Summer-itis hasn't hit me yet, but it'll come sometime.
Quote of the Day- Look for me at first light on the 5th day. At dawn, look to the east. -Gandalf, The Two Towers (I'm watching that movie while writing this)
Now Treebeard is breaking the dam to Isengard. And Sauruman looks troubled... I wonder why... Love this movie.
Anyway...
Folk Song of the Day: Jack a Nory
I'll tell you a story About Jack a Nory, And now my story's begun; I'll tell you another About Jack and his brother, And now my story's done.
Well that Jack guy needs a proper name, or is that his name: Jack A. Nory. The "A" is probibly his middle name. It's probibly some wierd name, and that's why he is conceling it. I think it's Alvin, Alabastar, or Atamatronictonten. Yea, that last one is it.
Oh, this is the wierdest thing I've seen in a long while. Go to http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8108483042286163955&q=mo+is+cool
And the sequal: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4753100996084819394&q=mo+is+cool
